My research focuses on the sources and fate of toxic and climate-active chemicals
(e.g., mercury, greenhouse gases, aerosol precursors (volatile organic compounds, dimethylsulfide)) using both field observations and modelling tools. In the context of rapid arctic ecosystem
changes, I focus on emerging sources such as boreal wildfires, permafrost thaw, and local marine sources.
